A spokesperson for Pakistan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced that the country has not joined the “Abraham Accords” (Israel’s peace deal), and has made no decision to participate in the international force referred to as the Gaza Peacekeeping Mission.
Speaking at his weekly press conference in Islamabad, Zahid Andrabi said, “The purpose of Pakistan’s any potential participation in peace delegations is a sincere and humanitarian approach, and we demand an immediate end to the killing of Palestinians.”
He stressed, “participation in peace delegations in no way implies joining the Abraham Accords or taking part in the international peacekeeping force in Gaza.”
