The official Omani News Agency announced today (Tuesday) that Sultan Haitham bin Tariq discussed the latest developments concerning negotiations between Iran and the United States during his meeting with Ali Larijani, the Secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council.

According to the report, the two sides exchanged views on pathways toward achieving a “balanced and equitable agreement” between Tehran and Washington.
The report further noted that the meeting stressed the importance of returning to the negotiating table and continuing discussions to narrow existing divides and bring viewpoints closer through peaceful methodologies.
During the meeting, the Sultan of Oman emphasized the necessity of resolving disputes via diplomacy, viewing this approach as a critical factor in bolstering peace and stability across the region and the world.
