Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmaeil Baqaei has denounced yet another brutal Israeli attack on the Gaza Strip, saying the crimes against Palestinians are the continuation of the regime’s policy being pursued since its creation on the occupied territories.

In a statement on Sunday, Baqaei said the attacks and the restriction on food and medicine in Gaza, despite a ceasefire agreement, are a clear sign of the colonial genocide policy of Israel with the support and complicity of the United States and some European countries, including Germany and Britain.
His reaction came after the occupying regime forces targeted several areas of Gaza, including refugee tents, which resulted in the killing of more than 30 people, including 6 children. Some 550 Palestinians have been killed in Israeli attacks since the ceasefire went into effect last October.
While offering condolences to the families of the victims and the Palestinian nation, Baqaei urged the international community, especially the United Nations, and the guarantors of the ceasefire, to hold the occupying regime accountable for the crimes and the repeated violations of the ceasefire agreement.
He also called for urgent actions to stop the genocide, the complete withdrawal of Israeli forces from Gaza, the unrestricted entry of humanitarian aid, the complete reopening of the Rafah border crossing, and the immediate start of the reconstruction process in Gaza.
