“Esmail Baqaei,” spokesman for Iran’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, announced in a press briefing that plans are underway for the Foreign Minister to visit Egypt and Lebanon.
Referring to the Islamic Republic of Iran’s commitment to strengthening relations and coordination with regional countries, the spokesman emphasized: “The Iranian Foreign Minister’s visit to Egypt and Lebanon is aimed at discussing bilateral relations, consulting on the latest regional developments—especially the situation in occupied Palestine—and holding talks on international affairs.”
According to Baqaei, Araghchi’s trip to Egypt and Lebanon is scheduled for this Monday and Tuesday, during which he will meet with high-ranking officials in both countries to exchange views on a range of bilateral and regional issues.
