Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi took part on Monday in an online meeting with Iran’s ambassadors and heads of diplomatic missions in Asian countries, continuing a series of webinar-based sessions with the Islamic Republic of Iran’s heads of missions.

The meeting discussed and reviewed various aspects of Iran’s foreign policy, with a particular focus on active diplomacy in Asia, strengthening bilateral and multilateral cooperation within regional and international organizations, and assessing consular issues related to Iranian nationals residing in Asian countries.
Emphasizing the need for dynamic, balanced diplomacy grounded in mutual respect and interests, the foreign minister stated that, ‘the Islamic Republic of Iran seeks to develop sustainable and equitable relations with all countries, especially those in Asia, based on common interests.
During the session, Iran’s ambassadors and heads of missions in Asia also presented reports on measures taken and ongoing programs aimed at enhancing bilateral relations across various fields
