Ismail Baghaei, Spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, strongly condemned the continuation of Israeli military incursions into Lebanon, particularly the spraying of toxic and chemical substances over agricultural lands in the south of the country, labeling the act a “war crime.”

Referring to thousands of ceasefire violations since November 2025, which have resulted in the deaths and injuries of hundreds of Lebanese citizens and extensive destruction of infrastructure, he called for immediate action by the United Nations to hold Israel accountable.
Baghaei also deemed the United States and France complicit in the crimes of the Israeli regime due to their support and inaction in the face of these violations.
