The U.S. Department of State announced the revocation of presence privileges for senior Iranian officials and their family members into the United States.

According to official sources, Iran’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced that, following an order by Marco Rubio, the ministry has taken measures this week to cancel senior Iranian officials and their families’ permission to be present in the U.S.
In a statement, the U.S. State Department claimed that individuals benefiting from what Washington calls “violent repression in Iran” should not have access to the United States’ immigration system.
