Foreign allies congratulate Iran on 47th anniversary of Islamic Revolution

Senior officials from Pakistan, India, Belarus, and Russia extended congratulations to Iran’s leadership and people on the 47th anniversary of the victory of the Islamic Revolution.

Foreign allies extended congratulations to Iran’s leadership and people on the 47th anniversary of the victory of the Islamic Revolution, with separate messages underscoring deep ties, resistance to foreign interference, and growing partnerships.

Islamabad 

Pakistani President Asif Ali Zardari and the country’s Foreign Ministry issued separate messages Tuesday congratulating the 47th anniversary of the victory of the Islamic Revolution, wishing the Iranian people peace, progress, and prosperity.

In a message addressed to Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei and the government of Iran, President Zardari extended his warm felicitations on the occasion.

According to a statement from the public relations department of the Pakistani Presidency, Zardari emphasized that Iran and Pakistan share a relationship “deeply rooted in common history, language, culture, and geography,” which has grown “stronger and more vibrant” over the years.

New Delhi 

India’s External Affairs Minister Subrahmanyam Jaishankar also extended greetings to his Iranian counterpart, Abbas Araghchi, marking the 47th anniversary of the Revolution.

In a post on the social media platform X, Jaishankar shared a photograph with Araghchi and conveyed his congratulations to him, the government, and the people of Iran.

Minsk

Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko sent a message to Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian and the Iranian people, congratulating them on the occasion.

“Iran has faced many serious trials throughout its history and has emerged from them with honor,” Lukashenko said, according to the Belarusian Presidency’s official website.

He described the Islamic Revolution as a “turning point” in Iran’s modern history and a “symbol of national unity, independence, and the pursuit of justice.”

Moscow 

Valentina Matviyenko, Speaker of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of Russia, sent a congratulatory message to Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf, Speaker of the Iranian Parliament.

“We have always stood with the government and people of Iran, who strive to preserve their independence and national sovereignty,” Matviyenko said.

She condemned attempts at foreign interference in Iran’s internal affairs, stating, “We condemn efforts to intervene in the country’s domestic processes.”

Matviyenko also hailed the rapid growth of friendly Russian-Iranian relations, and said they have “stood the test of time” and are now cemented within the framework of the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership.
