Speaking at a press conference on the sidelines of the National Congress on Foreign Policy, Iran’s Foreign Minister said: It is not possible to discuss the details of the negotiations at this stage, but the overall framework is clear. Iran can undertake a set of confidence-building measures within its nuclear program, and in return, the other side must take tangible steps to lift sanctions. These reciprocal measures require negotiation, and their specifics will be determined through the course of the talks.
The time and venue of the next round of negotiations will be decided through consultations by Oman’s foreign minister. A change of location is possible, as the venue was altered several times in the previous round. From our perspective, the format of the talks will remain indirect, and the final decision will be made along the path of diplomacy.
