Araghchi: Iran takes orders from no one

Iranian Foreign Minister, Seyed Abbas Araghchi said: Iran has paid a heavy price to achieve a peaceful nuclear program.

Araghchi stressed, “Iran has paid a heavy price to achieve a peaceful nuclear program and its right to uranium enrichment. This is a national necessity and a symbol of our independence, and no one has the authority to decide what Iran should or should not possess.”

The adversary claims that, out of “concern,” Iran should not engage in enrichment, but no country has the right to draw red lines for Iran based on its own preferences. Iran must demonstrate that it does not take orders from any power.

If there are questions regarding Iran’s nuclear program, the answer lies solely through diplomacy. Even the bombing of facilities failed to strip the Iranian nation of this right.

Negotiations can yield results only when the rights of the Iranian people are respected. We do not need our rights to be “recognized”; these rights already exist and must be respected.
