Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar stressed that he is eagerly looking forward to holding productive meetings with Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi with the aim of strengthening regional peace and stability.

In a post on X on Friday, Ishaq Dar wrote that he was pleased to join Field Marshal Asim Munir and Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi in welcoming the Iranian Foreign Minister upon his arrival.
The Pakistani Foreign Minister wrote: “Pleased to receive and welcome my brother, Foreign Minister of Iran, H. E. Abbas Araghchi, to Islamabad, alongside Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir and Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi. Look forward to our meaningful engagements aimed at promoting regional peace and stability.”
Araghchi arrived in Islamabad early Saturday for meetings with senior Pakistani officials as part of a trip aimed at close coordination between the two countries on bilateral issues and consultations on regional developments.
