Speaking on Monday, Zolfaghari said Iran would escalate its operations significantly if such incidents continue, adding that losses and damages for the aggressors will multiply.
The statement follows reported strikes on infrastructures, including a bridge in Karaj and petrochemical facilities in Mahshahr, Khuzestan Province.
Zolfaghari added that Iran had already launched retaliatory operations as part of ongoing military campaigns, targeting US and Israeli-linked assets across the region.
He also said that coordinated naval and aerospace operations struck energy facilities in the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, and Kuwait, causing fires and major disruptions. Additional statement included missile and drone attacks on military-related sites and the targeting of a vessel in the port of Jebel Ali.
Zolfaqari also stated that Iranian air defenses had recently intercepted and downed two drones, bringing the total number of destroyed UAVs to 163.
The spokesperson further emphasized Iran’s stance that any attack on civilian infrastructure would trigger broader and more forceful retaliation. He warned that future operations would be more extensive and decisive.
