A knowledgeable source at the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Beirut, confirming the presence of Iran’s ambassador in the country, stated that the embassy continues its operations.

The informed source at Iran’s embassy in Lebanon, in an interview with ISNA, rejected some reports published in cyberspace regarding the status of Iran’s ambassador and said: “Mr. Sheibani is present in Lebanon and the embassy continues its work.”
It is worth noting that Esmaeil Baghaei, spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, also stated on Monday in his weekly press briefing on this matter: “Our embassy in Lebanon is open, and based on the issues raised by relevant Lebanese authorities and the conclusion reached, our ambassador in Lebanon continues his work.”
