Esmaeil Baghaei, spokesperson for Iran’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, wrote on his X, referring to the NATO chief’s stance rejecting the recent claim by officials of the Israeli regime regarding an Iranian missile threat to Europe:

“The fact that even someone like the Secretary General of NATO (who has discredited himself by pressuring NATO members to support the unlawful U.S.-Israeli war against Iran) refrains from endorsing the latest Israeli falsehood is highly meaningful: the entire world has grown tired of hearing false-flag-based storytelling.”

Over the past two days, Israeli officials had claimed that an Iranian missile was intercepted en route to a British military base in Diego Garcia, presenting Iran’s missile program as a threat to Europe. The NATO Secretary General has explicitly rejected this claim.
