The Gaza Ministry of Health announced that, despite weeks passing since the attacks and amidst an acute shortage of debris-clearing equipment, approximately 8,000 bodies are still trapped beneath the rubble of destroyed buildings.

The Ministry stated that the control exerted by Zionist regime’s forces over sections of the Gaza Strip, coupled with field restrictions, has severely complicated the process of searching for and accessing affected areas.
Zaher al-Wahidi, the Director of the Information Department at the Gaza Ministry of Health, addressing the uncertain fate of numerous missing persons, noted that efforts to determine their status are continuing through a joint committee comprising the Ministry of Health, the Red Cross, the Ministry of Development and Endowments, the National Committee for Missing Persons, and the Human Rights Center.
