In response to a question from IranView24 on the recent visit of the U.S. negotiating team to their naval vessel in the region and the claims by some Western media, including CNN, regarding prior knowledge of this visit by the Iranian diplomatic delegation, Ismaeil Baghaei, spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, stated, “Excessive concentration on such matters is not important.”

Baghaei stressed, “We are monitoring all activities with our eyes wide open; however, our primary focus remains on fulfilling our responsibilities and staying on our path. We should not allow our focus to be diverted by the actions of others.”
He added, “I was present in Hormuz Island and the Strait of Hormuz about ten days ago. We are proceeding with our duties, and our assessments and decisions are based on careful and continuous observation of developments.”
