The three-and-a-half-hour session was hosted by the Iranian Embassy, where Ambassador Jalali presented an overview of developments since June 2025, with a particular focus on the unrest in the last month.

He outlined the dimensions of the United States’ policy of pressure and sanctions and Tehran’s approach toward it.

Jalali characterized the violent incidents as acts of terrorism and foreign interference, which he said were supported by the United States and the Israeli regime, referring to them as the 13th day of a 12-day war.

He also addressed indirect Iran–US talks held in Oman, stating that the nuclear issue could be resolved in an atmosphere of mutual respect and free from threats.

The ambassador reiterated Iran’s opposition to negotiations over its missile capabilities, emphasizing that Iran’s defensive achievements are non-negotiable.

Russian Iranologists shared their assessments of Iran’s situation. The meeting also featured the screening of footage highlighting what participants described as censored aspects of the recent unrest in Western media.
