He added, “In the talks, I reiterated that Iran has never sought to acquire nuclear weapons, and remains ready to enter into a fair and equitable nuclear agreement that safeguards the legitimate interests of the Iranian nation—an agreement that both guarantees non-acquisition of nuclear weapons and delivers the effective lifting of sanctions.”
Araghchi noted, “Alongside other neighboring countries, the Republic of Turkey has played a constructive role through its good offices in advancing regional peace and stability. The Islamic Republic of Iran has welcomed and appreciates these efforts.”
He stressed, “Iran remains fully prepared to engage and cooperate with countries across the region to preserve peace and stability, and to protect the region from unlawful acts of aggression.”
