In a meeting titled “Iran Today: Domestic Dynamics and the Regional Environment” held at the Paris Academy of Geopolitics, Mohammad Amin Nejad, the Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to France, explained Tehran’s view of domestic developments, the regional situation, and Iran’s position in the global order in transition.

Referring to the country’s demographic and social developments, he described Iran today as a young, educated society having vast human capital, and said: “Social and ethnic diversity is not a crisis, but rather a symbol of civic maturity and an internal capacity for development.”

The Iranian ambassador also emphasized that the country’s economy is based on localization capabilities, domestic knowledge, and human capital, rather than relying on imports.

In another part of his remarks, Mohammad Amin Nejad referred to Iran’s geopolitical position as a vital passage between East and West, North and South, and noted: “Iran has paid heavy prices for its geography throughout history, from being occupied in the world wars to foreign interventions that have disrupted a path of development. However, according to him, Iran today, relying on a dynamic consumer market, strategic resources, and the global need for advanced technologies, has kept the path of economic and regional cooperation open.
